KannaEase™ is a standardized extract of Sceletium tortuosum that it is derived from a traditional South African succulent plant known for its mood-enhancing and stress-reducing properties.
History of Use
Sceletium is a traditional medicinal plant used by the indigenous Khoi-khoi and San people of Southern Africa as a mood enhancer, sedative and analgesic for pain.
Origins
Sceletium grows in the arid regions of the Cape province in South Africa and is very sparsely distributed. Cultivation of sceletium is therefore a necessity for sustainable use and Afrigetics is actively involved in the cultivation of this plant for sustainable commercial use.

KannaEase™ extract that has a standardised total alkaloid concentration of not less than 0.4%.
KannaEase™ is soluble and is suitable for inclusion in herbal products and food supplements such as syrups, tinctures, tablets and oral drops/ sprays.

PELAPOWER™ EXTRACT is standardized for tannins (expressed as pyrogallol >2%) and coumarins (pure umckalin 500ppm, total umckalin >3000ppm).
PELAPOWER™ EXTRACT is suitable for inclusion in herbal products and food supplements such as syrups, tinctures, tablets and oral drops/sprays.
PELAPOWER™ EXTRACT is made using the original extraction method of Pelargonium sidoides as published in the European Medicines Agency monograph (ethanol 11% at a concentration ratio of 1:8-10).
